Nice tries, although for most of its versions here, 'Blitzmädel' concentrates on same sampling over and over - hence very little distinctive substance inbetween. The concept of 'Blitzmädel' is based on 60th anniversary celebrating victory over nazi brutality - choosing that very language thrown right into its ugly totalitarian face.

The original version by 'Margita je mrtva' ('Margita Is Dead') and especially Apparatchik's furious live cut, stand out among the rest by choosing different concept to provoke the masses still unaware of consequences the primitivist nazi savagery echoes in the society today - Margita's original, nice and smoothly provocative, eroticising violence while Apparatchik effectively demonstrate all the brutality behind it.

Predrag Petrovic: I remeber us (Apparatchik Boys and Girls) covering more than just "Blitzmädel". We did our version of BIG BLACK's song KEROSENE, and even more bizarre: we did Russian Wartime Anthem : ISTREBITEL by Vladimir Vysotsky

Very brutal song as all the wars are.

We toyed with the idea of making a cover of S.U.S. by punk band The Ruts, maybe we played sometimes T.V.O.D. by NORMAL. Tamara liked to sing something from Madonna.
